All our 4D scans are performed by the highly qualified team from The London Ultrasound Centre. Because we are also a busy medical scanning practice we understand what it takes to obtain the clearest images of your unborn baby. In the same way as photographing your children after birth, the best 3D pictures are only obtained when your baby looks toward the camera (in this case the ultrasound transducer). We also need a window of fluid to be in front of the baby so that we can see through it to your baby's face. However the position of your baby and the amount of fluid around it are factors beyond anyone's control and so the quality of your baby images are generally determined by how well your baby cooperates on the day. Nevertheless, with our experience and little persistence we are usually able to coax even the most camera shy babies into view. Your 4D scan experience starts with the basic ultrasound scan then you may add as few or many media items as you like. Or choose one of our packages and save over the cost of individual items. Should you choose to have a DVD, then while your scan is taking place we will record and edit the highlights of your scan onto a fully professional DVD for you to take away on the day of your appointment. Please allow up to 60 minutes for your scan, in case your baby is not in an ideal position and for preparation of your media. PAYMENT METHODS - We prefer Credit or Debit card using Chip & PIN

SERVICE TERMS All bookings are subject to a £50 deposit. Your deposit will be refunded as a subtraction from your account on the day of your scan. Weekend scans are subject to a £10 surcharge to cover weeekend staff costs. 4D scans performed by a Consultant are subject to a £30 surcharge to cover higher staff costs. You must tell us at least 48 hours before your booking if you wish to cancel otherwise we will retain your deposit. In the event that we cannot obtain 3D images of your baby the minimum you will be charged is £95 to cover the scanning time. Should you arrive 15 minutes or later after your appointment start time your booking may be rescheduled for another day. Late arrivals that are not able to be seen on the same day will incur a retained deposit. Advertised prices are subject to change without notice. E&OE. |
